6th December: last day for RMIT Diploma of Visual Arts graduate exhibition [link, link2]; “The 2013 Diploma of Visual Arts graduate exhibition is an accumulation of 2 years’ work, showcasing the best of RMIT visual arts. Works have been created in digital art, painting, printmaking, public art and sculpture, allowing the viewer an insight into the next generation of emerging artists.

13th – 17th January 2014: RMIT Object-based Practice presents Masterclass with Stefano Marchetti ‘Surface in Depth‘ [link]; 2014 Marchetti flier FINAL

20th – 23rd January 2014: Monash Summer Course ‘Jewellery – Contemporary Practice‘ [link]; “This intensive short course introduces participants to basic jewellery making. Participants learn how to use equipment and tools to give form to metals. Basic skills and techniques for metal work will be demonstrated, including saw cutting, drilling and soldering. Through a combination of technical exercises and examples of contemporary jewellery making, participants will realise one or more jewellery pieces.

20th – 24th January 2014: University of Sydney, College of Arts Masterclass with Stefano Marchetti ‘Surface in Depth‘ [link] … it’s fabulous that Stefano will be at Sydney and Melbourne on this trip!

3rd – 7th February 2014: RMIT Object-based Practice presents Masterclass with Lucy Sarneel ‘If You Were A Bowerbird…the art of seduction  [link]; 2014 Sarneel flier FINAL
