Neckpiece for a friend

A very special friend of mine had a significant birthday recently. I wanted to make her a piece of jewellery, but she is so incredibly styling it couldn’t be anything ordinary … oh lordy no.

Instead of using many words, to protect the privacy and specialness of the story and of her, I’ll instead share a few photos of her neckpiece.

Exhibition opportunities

Lord Coconut has put out a call for new work for some upcoming exhibitions.

1. ‘The Wedding March – an exhibition of men’s wedding bands and cufflinks’  group exhibition
   exhibition dates: 12th – 28th March 2013
   A celebration of handmade jewellery for men on their wedding day.
   (work needs to be received by 22nd February)
2. ‘We wear what we eat’  group exhibition
   exhibition dates: 10th – 24th April 2013
   Inspired by the phrase “we are what we eat” local jewellers, designers and artisans have produced a collection of works inspired by what they eat.
   (work needs to be received by 21st March)
