RMIT exhibitions

22 10 2011

Phew – finally, I’ve found information on the RMIT schedule of graduating exhibitions.

Ones of particular interest to me (though there are many others!) are:

  • 9th November: one-night exhibition for Photography [link]
  • 15th November: ‘Work Hardened‘, 1st and 2nd year Gold & Silversmithing students; Level 4, Spill Art Space, 175 Flinders Lane, Melbourne; exhibition 16th-26th [link]

    exhibition media

  • 16th November: ‘Not Pictured‘, Fine Art Photography exhibition; 16th-27th [link]
  • 23rd November: ‘It was Like a Fever‘, Gold and Silversmithing Honours Graduating student exhibition; No Vacancy Gallery, 34 – 40 Jane Bell Lane, Melbourne; 23rd Nov – 4th Dec [link]
  • 30th November: Master of Fine Art exhibition; 1-8th December [link]

Is it just me, or is there no listing here for third-year graduating Gold & Silversmithing students?? That’s odd….

Update (22nd October): I’ve been advised (see comments) that the ‘It was Like a Fever‘ exhibition is actually the 3rd year graduating show – hence the correction above. SO looking forward to seeing it!

Thats because ‘It was like a fever’ is the graduating students exhibition but RMIT have been publishing the info as an honours exhibition!?!? :/ I have notified them of their mistake and hopefully it is rectified. Info for the RMIT grad show coming soon! 🙂 Yes, it is at NO Vacancy, opening Wednesday the 23rd November 6-9pm.
