‘Perspective’ @ Craft Victoria

14 08 2009

PERSPECTIVE showcases a selection of talent from Craft Victoria’s Professional Membership base. The exhibition demonstrates a range of responses the 2009 festival theme CITY|COUNTRY, often combining intuitive enquiries with special skills developed over time. The maker is always present, inviting engagement through the use of materials to render a viewpoint, a perspective.
Perspective was curated by Joe Pascoe, with advice from Simon Lloyd, Mari Funaki and Meredith Turnbull, on the basis of submissions forwarded by members of Craft Victoria.

Karla’s necklace is by far my most favourite piece here … it is still calling to me and I am seriously considering bringing it home!
