This year has been a tricky one for me, with my ill-health severely restricting how much energy I had. Sadly I wasn’t able to visit as many of the excellent exhibitions that were in Melbourne as I wanted to.
Of those exhibitions I was able to see, the most memorable are:
- Nicholas Bastin ‘The Sleepless Hero‘ @ Craft Victoria, March 2012
gorgeous exhibition design, colourful and thoughtful pieces

- ‘Unexpected Pleasures‘ @ NGV, July 2012
the international blockbuster

- ‘The Lost Voyage of Captain Foley and the HMS Laburnum‘ @ Craft, October 2012
a most joyous imagined world of Anna Davern and Lucy James

It’s now that sadly I realise how many exhibitions I missed…
What were your favourites this year?
Happy exhibition visiting.
