The knitting extravaganza continues.
This time the plan was to learn how to knit a ‘lace’ type sock; well, one with a complex pattern.

Again I’ve used my favourite basic components: ‘Magic Cast-on‘ (by Judy Becker), heel from Knit Picks, and Stretchy bind-off (by Jeny Staiman).
The body of the pattern is from Grace by Sivia Harding. The yarn is MadelineTosh Tosh Sock in Mica.

(The colouring in the above two images differs a little; I think due to them being on then off, as well as the sun angle.)
The subtlety in the colouring is exquisite, with pale grey and barely-there lavender through the robin-egg blue… This yarn was an absolute delight to work with.
I’m now on to a non-sock project. For serious.
