That’s the name of a pink diamond for auction soon … Martian Pink. Apparently named by the owner in the year that the US sent a satellite to Mars (oh sure, why not).
It’s pretty big – 12 carats.

The estimate is pretty big too – around A$8m
Update (30th May): it fetched $17.4m (sorry, I can’t tell from the news story if that’s in Aus$ or US$)
